Filip Polc was the man who competes for MS EVIL RACING in the four cross race. After he qualified 15th he survived the first round as second with Prokop in lead and Jordan O’Keefe from South Africa and Adrian Hanko from Germany in 3rd and 4th Position. Filip’s 2nd heat was quite strong occupied with Prokop, Dan Atherton and Scott Beaumont. Filip showed a strong performance on his brand new Faction hardtail, but wasn’t able to qualify for the next round. We are looking forward to the next 4X world cup rounds when Filip has got more practice on his new ride.

Even this post has nothing to do with our team or the gravity part of mountain biking we’d like to honor the today’s performance of the Austrian girl Lisi Osl from the Central Ghost pro team, who won her first cross country world cup race.

Even she is not a member of our team she is a friend of us and a member of the Red Bull family and this is why we share her happiness about her first world cup victory. This is the first one of an Austrian female athlete ever and so this win will go down in Austrian sports history.
“Lisi, congratulation from the MS crew- that was awesome!”

2. Irina KALENTIEVA (RUS) +2:07
3.Lene BYBERG (NOR) +2.46
As most of you maybe know it’s not so long since Matti had some major injuries. Right after he signed with MS-RACING in 2007 he broke some vertebras, but he came back for the 08 seasons. He was always just a step away from being on the top again, but he was always stopped by another hurt or an accident as happened in Canberra/ Australia.
Now he is back again, with a new ride and a new kit and we are crossing fingers for a successful 09 seasons. Good luck Matti!
freecaster.tv: A welcome to return to racing for the Finnish flyer Matti, who’s been battling two broken wrists and even a broken back in the last few years. The helmet cam proves the injuries haven’t deterred him, with some ace whips over the huge jumps in Pietermartitzburg.
