Almost three weeks after the first UCI world cup of Pieteraritzburg/ RSA the European worldcup series started in Houffalize/ BEL. For some unknown reason the DH and 4X got split and so Filip was the only rider who showed the colors of the MS EVIL Racing in the 4X race of the 2nd world cup round.
Before the worldcup 4X race Filip attended a local DH race sponsored by Red Bull. Even the track wasn’t the best DH course it was it worth to go there, especially if you consider the price money of 10.000 Euros.

Filip raced on an EVIL Faction hardtail and got 2nd right behind Bryn Atkinson, who took the win and a price money of 3000 Euros.
The worldcup 4x race didn’t go too well for Filip. He could qualify for the race because of a technical problem and finally he also hurt his finger.
The 4X race itself was pretty interesting to watch and was for sure more thrilling than the 4X race of the 1st worldcup round. The men’s race was characterized by some passing maneuvers and tactics, which remember to the controversial team orders of formula 1- seems like 4X becomes now a team sport. At least the race had a worthy winner and Jared Graves gain his second win of the season, followed by team player Dan Atherton in 2nd and Roger Rinderknecht in 3rd position.
Jill Kintner and Anneke Beerten were the protagonists of the women’s race. Even there had been some more good riders at the start the thrill of the races based on the battle between Anneke and Jill. In the end Jill took the win for this time and Anneke got 3rd behind Jana Horakova in 2nd.
Now MS EVIL is ready to leave to La Bresse for the 3rd UCI worldcup round, which will be the first official appearance MS RACING in it’s new colors and new designs… so watch out for the new evil looking pits and bus in La Bresse/ FRA.
