It was another great race weekend for MS EVIL RACING in Maribor/ Slovenia. After some hot days the weather changed 180° for Saturday which is the day for DH qualifying and the 4X race. It was raining cats and dogs and the organization needed to stop the gondola because of lightning, which changed the whole schedule for the DH on Sunday- training @7:00, qualification @ 9:30 and the finals as usual 13:00.

For the 4X the rain stopped, but because of the heavy rain throughout the day the track was super muddy and slippery. Filip qualified 11th (on his DH bike) on Friday and showed some good race action in the finals on Saturday. He finally ended up 11th in race, which was characterized by the bad track conditions and by some unfair moves of one rider or another.

Sunday morning the weather was nice and sunny again and we had the best conditions for an awesome race. Even we needed to get up so early everybody was super motivated and ready for race action. While Matti and Filip qualified in solid positions, Steve point out with a 6th place in the qualifying. Steve finally ended up 7th, Matti 8th and Filip in 22nd.

These results mean that Steve (9th now) and Matti (16th) could improve their positions in the overall ranking and Filip (20th) can keep his position.
