For 2025 MS-RACING made the biggest change in its 21-year history. With the Zerode G3 we are not just moving to another company, but to a whole new drive train concept. It is in the nature of racing to keep developing. In the past couple of years we faced certain problems, when we were developing bikes. In frequent exchange with suspension designers and suspension engineers gear box design was brought up as a possible solution for certain problems and as an evolution for downhill bikes, but for sure for e-bikes.  

The concept of gear box bikes is nothing new and has been touched in the past by companies like Nicolai, Honda or B1. These concepts were successful, but never break thru into the mass market and disappeared from racing again.

With the Zerode G3, PINION gearboxes and GATES belt drive, we join the world series to explore options, to prove our theories around the advantages of this drive train concept and establish this kind of drive train as a real alternative drive train concept for the mass market. We haven’t been the first, but for sure we won’t be the last to join that movement.
