Brook’s injury update

One of our team riders, friend and family member is down. Brook MacDonald had a bad crash during the last training session on Saturday during the world championships in Mont Sainte Anne/ Canada. The rescue from the accident site took unacceptable 4 hours, while Brook was in unthinkable pain caused by a spine injury.

I’ve wanted to share this surprise helmet I got from my family and @mahalu.at for world champs. This gift represent the special people in my life where I come from a saying from my grandad which he use to say to me every time I used to leave for racing and a tiki which represents strength. This is by far the most meaningful helmet I’ve ever been give thank you from the bottom of my heart @alpinestars @redbull @painthousecustoms

Update: Surgery went well today; 8 screws and 2 rods in my back now. Feeling a lot better than yesterday. Tomorrow’s plan is to get up and try walk. Thank you so much to everyone who has messaged me!
